just when you thought the crooked rain reissue was running dry, stephen malkmus has announced a new album slated for may. he's also going to have a baby. this is xxxciting, even though he is sans the jicks. he will NOT be at coachella, rumor-mongerers. oh, and ben folds is paying homage to my dear friend danny (or any other jew in the us) with 'song for silverman' - due in april.
today is the tsunami benefit day at the michigan theater. please stop and see 'hotel rwanda' or 'avery long engagement' and give your daddy dollars to those without a home or family. or just see the movies and feel good about it.
