chanukah bathroom reading

Since it is the eve of the first night of Chanukah, I've decided to share with you, Autumnattic loyal readers, two of my all time favorite Chanukah books. Mother will read them year after year, and believe me, they DO NOT get old. Buy them now. C'mon, don't jest. Read for CHANUKAH!

Somebody explain how National Treasure is at #1 again.

Autumnattic was treated (?) to a special advance screening of the upcoming Coach Carter, starring Samuel L. Jackson and "Spanish" from Old School (& Ashanti, GIRRRRL!). Though it was a mix of Dangerous Minds and Hoosiers, Remember the Titans and The Brothers, it is mildly entertaining, but nothing exceptionally fresh. What'd you expect? But in more important screening info, Wes Andersen's anticipated "The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou" will be shown this Friday, 12/10 in the Natural Science Auditorium. It WILL be packed, so get your cheap little butts there early, son.

Batman Begins begins with an amazingly cool teaser poster. Touche, Jack Kelly from Newsies, touche.

Hot O.C. rumorsCOLLIDE. Word has it lip serviced, poor acting rich ninny Marissa is gonna lock lips with another female character in an exploratory lesbian scene. TiVo on alert, teenagers of America (& college kids)

Look, I am not going to lie. I browsed the cover article in this month's Alternative Press, and it got me really excited for my guilty pleasure "wack emo band" records coming this spring and summer. A great cover story on everyone's favorite Long Island wordsters Brand New, as well as info on other bands critically hated but closetly loved by those elite critics: Coheed & Cambria, Yellowcard, Alkaline Trio, Fallout Boy, Bright Eyes, Motion City Soundtrack, Deftones, and so many more.

Check out who won in the "Cheesiest Movie Line Ever" awards. Coach Carter, though a perfect candidate, had to be left out due to time constraints.
