not long ago, i made a vow to myself that i would find a way to amass the entire series of episodes of nickelodeon's classics 'salute your shorts' and or 'hey, dude' and or 'are you afraid of the dark?'. this ongoing internet search has left me basically empty, until today when i found this incredible site with sound clips from 'salute', as well as a map of camp anawanna. donkeylips- don't hold your out of breath breath, i'll have you someday.

the season premiere of mtv's brilliant sisterly reincarnation, the ashlee simpson show, left a cliff hanger at the point when ashlee went all acidreflux on snl viewer's asses. oh beautiful hair dye. show highlight: ashlee and snobby cronies eating at TAO in NYC right before the broadcast. i ate there with the fam (hi mom!), and it was truly delectable.

in the hazardous walking conditions of ann arbor, mi. at this time of the year, i feel it is adamant that you keep a close eye on your shoes as you walk. if you don't, you will end up falling victim to the infamous 'slip'. you know, the one where you don't wipe out totally, but do indeed lose your balance by throwing one foot in front of the other. you are scared for a split second, then embarrassed as you regain your composure. i'm sure this has happened to you. keep your eye on the ground, and your dignity up; if you fall victim. like i did today. in front of dennison and a lot of passerbys.
